Too often &quot;mission&quot; becomes about &quot;us&quot; rather than what Jesus talked about in Luke 4 (thus, more focus on how many seats in the &quot;sanctuary&quot; or arena rather than how many mouths with food and children with education).  Whenever we are more focused on how many come to &quot;us&quot; than we are on how many lives and systems we&#039;ve helped change via Lk4, we have a problem.  Let me add to your list:
Johnny Ray Youngblood
Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.
James A. Forbes
Otis Moss 2 (and 3!!)
Freddy Haynes
and that&#039;s just the beginning!  BUT most white pastors haven&#039;t learned as much from these sources because we don&#039;t ask or listen or seek to learn . . .</description>
